What does Green Garage™ actually do?
We “green-tune” cars to run cleaner, greener and cheaper and all the while “fixing” the whole bad automotive service experience. We offer proven, sustainable, energy saving automotive maintenance and repair related products, and a state-of-the-art retail store experience.
So, how does this whole Green Garage™ dealio work?
Much like Sunday morning, our process is easy.
How do we do it? We use the latest technology, products and services. We pride ourselves on educating our customers on what they really need and when. For example, do you need an oil change every 3,000 miles? Nope! With a little education, you can make the right decisions for your car, the planet and your wallet.
More than that, we save you time. With our services and technology, you come in to get your car serviced less often. Why? Because, you always need more time for family, work, online cat videos, etc.
How do we fix your car and the environment? We work with the best technology to use fewer products, reuse everything we can and recycle what we can’t. We work with vendors who do the same to create a closed-loop system.
Bottom line: More Smileage for you, the environment and your wallet.
What auto repair services do you offer? Is it only oil changes?
Green Garage™ is a full service operation – any repair, any adjustment, any vehicle. Don’t hesitate to contact us whether it’s wiper blades, brakes, or a timing belt. We do it all with our core values in mind.
I get cheaper oil changes from other shops, why should I pay more?
Our green oil change is a lot like a CFL light bulb. Although you pay some extra dough up front, you get a huge payback with energy savings. In fact, the longevity of our oil change will save you about $124.96 over 30k miles or two years! Amazingly, you only need to change the filter four times and the oil once during these two years. By having your car serviced by Green Garage™, you’ll use 70 percent less oil and 50 percent less filters, which helps break our dependency on foreign oil.
Where is your shop?
We have shops in Boulder and Denver. Shops have a full retail store front, so feel free to stop by, hang out, take a tour and learn about our MPG-increasing products. The Boulder shop is at 2907 55th St. (@ 55th and Pearl). The Denver shop is at 2900 Zuni St. (near the Speer exit of I-25 in the Highlands). We will have a new Boulder location soon, so stay tuned!
What hours are you open?
Our shops in Boulder and Denver are open from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday, from 8:00am til 3:00pm Saturday and closed on Sunday.
Why don’t dealerships offer the products and services provided by Green Garage™?
This very question is what led self-described “recovering car dealer” and Green Garage™ founder Ryan Ferrero to start this business. The reality of the old school auto dealership business model is one that banks on seeing you and your car for maintenance on a very regular basis. This sometimes includes work that you may not need. For example, our dual stage oil filter is exclusive to Green Garage™.
