Ryan Ferrero

Ryan started Green Garage™ in April 2009. After working and owning dealerships for 32 years he realized how diseased and corrupt the car industry really was and after one fitful night decided to finally do something about it and start Green Garage™! When Ryan isn’t thinking about Green Garage™ (which is rare) he likes to hang out with his family and kids, golf, and snowboard. When asked what his dream car would be Ryan says he already owns it: 1963 Chrysler 300 which he has nicknamed “Lucy.”
Steve Kirchner
President
Steve was kidnapped in January 2012 to work for Green Garage™ and says he hasn’t looked back since (thank goodness!). After 26+ years in the auto biz he also realized that it was past time the industry started changing to a more customer oriented, eco-friendly attitude. Even though Steve is starting to love Boulder he does miss the ocean and scuba diving, which were his favorite activities. Steve’s ultimate dream car is an Aston Martin
Bonnie Benskin
Green Tuning Rep
Bonnie started at GG the summer of 2011 fresh out of business school at CU Boulder. Since then she has learned more about cars and green tuning then she ever thought possible! If Bonnie isn’t running around the shop helping out she probably running for an upcoming race or planning where she is going to travel to next. Bonnie’s dream car is a cleaner version of the one she drove in high school, a red 1985 Corvette.
Erin Oakes
Greenskeeper, Boulder
Erin could probably be described as the perfect combination of hardcore mechanic and old school hippie (even though he is only in his 30s), which is why he is a perfect manager for the Boulder shop. Erin has spent over six years working on cars and helping people better understand their vehicle, so feel free to ask away! When Erin isn’t going over your car with you he is playing guitar, rafting, snowboarding, making his own homemade wine and dreaming about his future car a 1965 black rap Corvette.
Niki Helms
Greenskeeper, Boulder
Niki has been ankle deep in Ferrari engine oil and auto fumes for the past eight years, and fortunately she’s decided to take the skills she honed working on those Italian masterpieces here to Green Garage™! When she’s not imagining a greener tomorrow, Nikki loves to grow her own food on her farm, go camping, fishing, and dancing. One day she is determined to reel in a Ferrari 275 GTB of her very own!
Rob Organ
Greenskeeper, Zuni
Rob has been a technician for 6 years and joined Green Garage in February 2011. Since then he has traded in his wrenches and moved up to manage the Zuni store in Denver. When he’s not talking to customers about their vehicles Rob likes to skateboard, snowboard and hangout with his family and baby daughter. If he could have his dream car it would be a Chopped and Channeled 1936 Ford.
